The Fashion and Textile Museum is the first museum in the UK dedicated to contemporary fashion and textiles. Located in one of the fashion capitals of the world, the mission of the Fashion and Textile Museum is to exhibit the immense changes in contemporary fashion and textiles and educate a wide audience in all areas of fashion and textile design.

The core collection is comprised of 3000 original garments donated by FTM founder, Zandra Rhodes, along with her archive collection of the working process from paper designs and sketchbooks to silk screens, finished textiles, completed garments and show videos.
