The 18th century Lamb House in Rye was the home of the famous novelist Henry James from 1898 until he died in 1916. After he died, the property was owned by the writer EF Benson. The property of Henry James can be seen at Lamb House, and there is a pretty walled garden, much loved and kept well by those that lived in Lamb House over the years.
