Historically used for hunting and combat archery dates back thousands of years yet is still practiced today as a recreational activity. The Introduction to Archery is perfect for complete beginners but more seasoned archers can also enjoy this chance to practice and gain tuition. This experience includes use of bow and arrows and 1 hour’s archery instruction and practice beginning with the necessary safety and training from a fully qualified instructor. The expert coach will help you to refine your technique and after no doubt a few wayward arrows you should be confident in hitting the target. Archery requires patience and a steady hand but master those and you’ll be surprised how quickly you improve.

When you arrive at the site 15 minutes before the start time you will be introduced to the instructor and receive a short safety briefing before you are issued with your bow and arrows. You will receive expert guidance throughout the experience to help you hit the target. Learn the skill behind how to hold and aim the bow and arrow and the importance of keeping a steady hand. Your archery session will last 1 hour during this time you will become more confident with a bow and arrow and soon feel like a real Robin Hood.
