Availability: Runs until September 2014 (excluding January 2014), at least one weekday per month (usually a Friday). Dates fill quickly and we recommend booking several weeks in advance. Weather: Duration: Expect to be on-site for up to two hours, with a few seconds to a full minute actually spent in the ball rolling in the snow. Participants are welcome to spend the remainder of the day watching others. Numbers On Day: You will be grouped with up to 10 other participants. Spectators: Family and friends are welcome and encouraged to come along and watch from one of the viewing platforms. Dress Code: Dress comfortably with long sleeves and trousers and bring gloves which are compulsory. Shoes and socks, jewellery, glasses and any other loose items must be removed. Guidelines: Restrictions: Must be fit, healthy (no recent broken bones or old joint injuries) and not pregnant. Max weight 18 stone. Min age 12, max 60. Height min 4' min and 7' max. Hop into a large inflatable ball, commonly known as a sphere, before spinning down the mighty 'Avalanche' run like a human tumble dryer at heady speeds of up to 30 mph. During the experience, receive a detailed group briefing from a trained staff member, before being kitted out in a flight suit, snow boots and safety harness (please bring gloves). Walk up to the summit of the 'Avalanche' and after a being paired up (as a safety measure, people will be matched according to height and weight similarities), get strapped in for the exhilarating ride ahead. This experience is fantastic for any ardent thrill seeker.
