This class in navigation will be one day in length and it will cover all aspects of navigation. Countless numbers of people are lost in Britain's hills and mountains every year. You shouldn't even consider going into real wilderness if you can't read a map properly. Unfortunately, many do. If you want to spread your wings and learn to navigate properly, this is the course for you. Once we have covered the theory, it's out onto the Cambrian Mountains to put what you have learnt into practice . Your standard of map reading will dramatically improve and will give you new confidence and ability to explore the wild, safe in the knowledge that you know where you are.

We recommend no younger than 12 years old. Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. You do not have to be physically fit, but should have a positive attitude and an open mind. There are no qualifications or experience required for this activity No experience or qualifications are necessary.
