Then someone had the idea of flipping one upright, jumping into the airflow and body flying was born. The 120mph wall of air is easily strong enough to support your weight, so you can freefall without jumping from a plane. Start with a safety brief from an instructor before being kitted out with specialist flight suits. Then step into the wind tunnel with your instructor, where you'll be lifted into the air for an incredible 10 minutes of body flying, shared between the family. (A skydive from 10,000 feet has around 30 seconds of freefall!) The instructor may even show some astonishing freefall acrobatics. The session ends with a debrief, you'll also get a DVD of your flights to take home.
