Availability: Weekend dates either once a month or once every two months throughout the year, depending on the venue. All booking is subject to availability. Weather: High winds or heavy rain might prevent the jump going ahead. If in doubt, call the venue to check before leaving home. Duration: After registering expect to be allocated a bungee time slot and jump within an hour or so. Safety checks, briefing and harnessing take a few minutes. The jump itself lasts just a few heart-stopping seconds. Numbers On Day: Up to 100 others also jump on the day. Spectators: Spectators are welcome - get them to bring along a camera or video. Dress Code: Wear long trousers rather than a skirt (you'll be upside down!). Glasses and contact lenses must be removed prior to jumping. Guidelines: Restrictions: Min age 14. Under 16's need a parent/guardian's signature. Over 50's need to produce a doctor's certificate. Must be in good health and inform us of any medical conditions beforehand, as they may prohibit jumping. Other Info: Conditions that will prevent jumping include: high blood pressure, any heart condition, dizziness/epilepsy, pregnancy, asthma, any neurological condition and diabetes.

First, as with all bungee jumping, get weighed before being fitted into a full body harness. After various health and safety checks, mount the launch pad ready for lift off. The bungee cord is attached and the slack taken up by the crane up to 160ft. Suspended in mid-air, the anticipation is immense as the jumpmaster shouts 3-2-1-bungee and then pulls the rip cord to send you hurtling into the air. What a rush!
