Availability: At least two Sunday mornings a month throughout the year. Weather: High winds or heavy rain may affect this experience. If in doubt, please be sure to call the centre to check before you leave. Duration: After registering, a bungee time slot is allocated and the jump usually takes place within an hour. Safety checks, briefing and harnessing take around three minutes and the jump itself lasts just a few heart stopping seconds. Numbers On Day: You'll jump on your own, but there will be others waiting their turn. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to watch your jump from the viewing area approximately 100 yards from the site - get them to bring along a camera or video. Dress Code: Wear long trousers rather than a skirt (you'll be upside down!). Glasses and hard contact lenses must be removed prior to jumping. Guidelines: Exit the A1 (M) at junction 49 and head onto the A19. Then follow the A66 to Middlesbrough city centre and at the Hartington interchange, turn left over Metz Bridge into North Road A178. Turn left into Snowdon Road, at the roundabout take the third exit into Vulcan Street (at junction with Ferry Road), turn left then first right. Car parking and disabled access available on site. Restrictions: Min age 14. Under 16's need a parent/guardian's signature. Max weight is 120kg (18.9st), waist size between 40cm - 125cm. Over 50's must produce a doc's certificate. MUST be in good health and inform of any medical conditions beforehand. Other Info: Conditions that will prevent you from jumping include high blood pressure, heart condition, dizziness/epilepsy, pregnancy, asthma, neurological condition and diabetes.

On arrival, get weighed and issued with a back- up harness before tackling an epic 210 step climb to the top of the bridge. Once at the top, walk 150 feet along to the jump zone and admire incredible views of the surrounding area whilst contemplating the descent. After some thorough safety checks and choice words of wisdom, take a giant leap towards the River Tee's before the bungee rope stretches to its limit and pings back towards the sky. After a few repetitions, get carefully lowered to a waiting speed boat. Once back on firm ground, pick up a certificate as a memento of this incredible experience.
