NEW COMEDY NIGHT COMES TO SHEFFIELD
Funhouse Comedy Club, which already runs successful nights at numerous venues across the country, is excited to announce the launch of a brand new comedy night at Hillsborough Social Club, Sheffield on Friday October 11th
Funhouse clubs are renowned for having exceptionally friendly audiences and a brilliant atmosphere, which have led to twice winning Best Midlands Comedy Club awards with leading comedy website ChortlePrevious acts to have played its clubs on their road to the top include Sarah Millican, Joe Lycett, James Acaster and Rhod Gilbert, who described the clubs as “among the best anywhere in the world.”
Topping the bill is comedian and script writer Sean PercivalHis brand of comedy steers clear of the surreal and confronts realism in an explosively funny wayHis down to earth act is unforgettable with its upfront attitude, no long stories, just gags galore
Opening the night will be the appealing and gripping writer and comedian Eddy BrimsonKnown as a ‘geezer’ he is one of the most entertaining comedians on the circuitHaving made many TV appearances including Eastenders, Absolutely Fabulous, The Thin Blue and Casualty, he has also featured in TV adverts such as Snickers and Bacardi BreezerTravelling all over the world as a stand-up he once even did a gig naked!
Completing the line-up is the naturally charming and clever Paul Dennis
Compere for the night will be the cheeky and friendly Stevie Gray with his boundless energy and mix of news and comedy
