Christmas and the New Year just wouldn’t be complete without the annual visit to TAG’s pantomime – and, once again, this production of Robin Hood and the Babes in the Wood promises to tick all the right boxes. Charlie Greenwood (Robin Hood) and Nichola Gee (Maid Marion) will be taking to the boards again; accompanied by Steve Whittingham who plays Winnie Widebottom, Maid Marion’s former nanny and the village school-teacher. Steve, who has recently joined Tisbury Arts Group, previously played the Dame in three productions at the college where he was a lecturer and senior manager: “Playing the Dame is always huge fun and an opportunity to let your hair down – or perhaps I mean put on a great big wig!" said Steve.

Written by Ben Crocker, this one is “An absolutely cracking pantomime . . . We three adults loved it, and so did every child in earshot.” Libby Purves.
