A festive treat for those who like their Christmas panto with a twist.
They've knuckled down, finished the script, fashioned the props, hired the costumes, booked the venue and built the set. But they have forgotten one vital component; a cast.Cinderella and the Beanstalk is a delectable cocktail of your favourite pantomimes. Follow Cinderella on a perilous adventure as the scheming Rumplestiltskin blackmails the would-be princess into retrieving the coveted golden eggs from the top of the beanstalk.
Cinderella must complete her quest in order to recover her glass slipper, but with Prince Charming, the Fairy Godmother, Jack's pregnant cow and several other lesser known characters all doing their bit to get in the way, these delicious, oversized eggs may not be so easily sought out…
Sleeping Trees Productions started life as a multi-award winning comedy trio who, following a number of hit shows, were challenged to write a pantomime by their director, Tom Attenborough. The result is this original and anarchic Christmas offering for all the family, which blends the classical elements of a well-loved pantomime with an astonishing range of fast, physical and bare-knuckled comedy.
Join a brand new cast for 2017 as they recreate every character you’d expect to find in a pantomime, as well as some you might not… whilst still doing their best to sing, dance and fight their way through one hundred minutes of panto pandemonium.
