Fri Oct 04 (8pm-1am / £5-7) - Fresh from smashing last months Grass Roots Jazz Session, we thought we'd give those unfortunates who missed it, another chance to catch this good time, high energy jazz band HAPPY GARDEN Live In The Lounge. Happy Garden a 6 piece ensemble surfing the cracks between Afro, Cuban and Gospel music (Live) in their own own original 21st century jazz stylee + DJ MR BOOGIE (Soulsa) - deep in our speakeasy lounge at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.

Happy Valley - A nature-inspired nu jazz six-piece which has recently emerged out of London's Guildhall School of Music. Their repertoire is a cosmic and candescent concoction of Afro, Cuban and gospel music crafted together with contemporary jazz overtones.
Drawing inspiration from outfits and artists such as Waldo's Gift, Yussef Kamaal and Jaco Pastorius, they're fully focused on delivering natural, mystic and spacey sounds straight to your ears.
This bold, buoyant and badass band boasts Mo Cook on bass, Benji Charles on keys, Valentine Cheesbrough on guitar, Chris Clayden on sax, Isaac James on drums and Sid Moon on trumpet.

MR BOOGIE (SOULSA)
Mr Boogie has made his own distinctive mark on the London underground scene via his Melting Pot music show on Shoreditch Radio, and Grass Roots – a regular live event at The CLF Art Lounge, Peckham. He also promotes Deep and Dope and is a seriously good DJ in his own right. He has grooves for daze!!!
