Experience a tranquil escape into your imagination at the LEGO Group’s Inner Piece pop-up.
Located in the heart of central London, tickets are free and available on a first come first serve basis. Inner piece is an evolution of last year’s hugely popular experience, Piece Garden, which was an immersive event that encouraged people to take a more playful approach in life and reconnect with their creativity.
This year, the inspiration for the Inner Piece experience is based on research conducted by the LEGO Group that found 15% of adults feel stressed almost daily during the past year.
Perfect for art-lovers across the capital, Inner Piece has been created by visual artist Maria Madem and It’s Nice That (the team that created last year’s Piece Garden), and offers a serene communal space, designed to transport visitors into different dreamscapes, from botanical wonders to galactic adventures and vehicular creations. The LEGO Group’s Inner Piece activation coincides with London’s appetite for art and culture alongside movements such as Frieze London, one of the world’s largest contemporary art fairs.
Engage in complimentary, expert-led workshops that encourage creativity and mindfulness, including Happy Place Prints and the Meditative Flower Workshop, encouraging people to connect with their Inner Piece. All whilst being able to explore your favourite passions, like, Space, Star Wars and Vehicles.
The first workshop is based around highly loved LEGO sets; the Botanical range. Attendees will be able to attend a Meditable Flower Making workshop, where they will create their own flowers which will be added to the centrepiece of the event, and will allow them to unwind and leave feeling relaxed.
Alternatively, there will also be a Happy Prints workshop, designed by Brighton-based illustrator and printmaker, Laurie Avon. Laurie will show attendees how to transform their vision of their own Happy Place into their own print using their very own LEGO bricks, which they will be able to take home with them at the end.
