Cris Contini Contemporary is proud to present Storytelling, a solo exhibition by Italian artist Emanuele Sari, hosted at our London gallery.
His vibrant works, crafted with Venetian glass, smalti, marble, and shimmering gold, silver, and copper accents, depict iconic characters from comic books and the world of entertainment — from Lupin to Joker, Klimt to Modigliani, David Bowie to Freddie Mercury. Blending playfulness with depth, Sari transforms an ancient craft into a dynamic medium for exploring today’s cultural landscape. His mosaics, while visually striking and ironic, offer layered interpretations and invite reflection on the contradictions of modern society.
