Guest Speakers Amy Jobes is a contemporary landscape painter based in North Devon, represented by two galleries and featured in Artists & Illustrators Magazine and Devon Life Magazine. A mentor at the VAA, Amy specializes in helping artists with goal setting, branding, marketing, and selling their artwork. She brings years of experience and passion to supporting artists’ growth.
Carne Griffiths is a British artist known for his captivating paintings created with calligraphy inks, tea, and alcohol. His work blends human, geometric, and floral forms, evoking dreamlike realms that invite the viewer into a journey of escapism. Before becoming a full-time artist, Griffiths spent twelve years as a gold wire embroidery designer, contributing intricate designs to the military, fashion, and film industries. Since establishing his studio in 2010, he has exhibited internationally, collaborated with renowned photographer Rankin, and worked with brands such as Microsoft, Derwent, and Peroni.
