Visitor numbers on this day will be reduced to help everyone experience the Museum in a more relaxed environment. Enjoy sensory storytelling where The Giraffe, the Pelly and Me will be bought to life with visual prompts, objects, sound, movement and smells.SEND Explorer Kits and Quiet Space Kits will be available to borrow for free.
You can also join in with a Clay workshop and create a special creature to take home. Available spaces for the workshops will also be reduced for a calmer experience.
Crodswoggling Clay Critters Workshop – £4 per person (each maker may book one free “seated supporter” ticket) These take part at 10.30am, 12pm, 1.30pm, and 3pm. Great for age 5 and up, but any children aged 2 to 4 taking part will still need a ticket.
We recommend booking in advance for this event as spaces are limited.
