William and Kate to attend Military Tornament NEWS
It has been confirmed today that Prince William and Kate Middleton Duchess of Cambridge will be supporting the armed forces by attending this years British Military Tournament at Earls Court in London on 8 and 9 December.
This week is Best of British Week and to help celebrate, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been confirmed as special guests at the 2012 British Military Tournament at Earls Court in London on 8 and 9 December.
This event is one of the largest and most stunning military performances of its kind. An unforgettable and breath-taking show that will give fans the opportunity to marvel at the skill and precision of our Armed Forces and the chance for the public to show their appreciation for our heroic servicemen and women.
This annual event is a thrilling show of military expertise and is the world's biggest show of its kind, helping to raise much needed funds for the three nations charities of Her Majesty's Armed Forces - ABF The Soldiers' Charity, The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity, and the RAF Benevolent Fund.
This year the organisers are proud to have Kate and William in the audience who will be showing their support for the British Armed Forces and to mark the Diamond Jubilee celebrations of 2012.
The 2012 Tournament will be celebrating the life and times of Her Majesty The Queen with the show starting with the events of in the year of The Queen's birth of 1926 and will tell a story throughout Her Majesties reign which will include the current engagement in Afghanistan.

This Sunday saw Kate shed a tear as Big Ben tolled at 11am on 11 November as she attended the Remembrance Sunday service at the Foreign Office in London.
