St. James's Palace have confirmed today that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are NOT expecting twins and that the royal baby will be due in July. It is not expected that the Duchess, who has been suffering with acute morning sickness will return to Public duty very soon.
St. James's palace in London has today confirmed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's baby is due in July.
The Duchess who is now thought to be in her second trimester has been suffering with acute morning sickness and has spent a short time at the beginning of her pregnancy in hospital.
A spokesman for the Palace announced that the Duchess's condition continues to improve on a daily basis.
The Duchess was suffering from a rare form of hyperemesis gravidarum, a condition that is commonly experienced by woman who are carrying twins.
Today the Palace also confirmed that Catherine and Prince William are not expecting twins, confirming that Kate is expecting just one baby.

The Duchess is thought to be still resting between their rented home in Angelsey and Kensington Palace in London.
After Doctors ordered her to rest, the Duchess was forced to miss some of her royal engagements. She made her first public appearance on the BBC's Sports Personality of the Year Awards.
The Duke and Duchess were last seen together in public on Friday, when they visited the National Portrait Gallery in London for the unveiling of her first official portrait, reported the BBC.
