Westlife Singer Denies Quitting Band

Kian Egan, Westlife band member has denied that he will be leaving the band, after an announcement on twitter.com was posted by a hacker.

Kian Egan, Westlife band member, has reassured his fans that he will not be quitting the band, after he fell victim to a Twitter hacker.

Over 70,000 followers on the singers account @KianEganWL, were shocked when twitter showed an announcement, that he was leaving the band to concentrate on managing his wife's girl band Wonderland, which then caused panic amongst his thousands of followers.

Westlife fans started to worry, when the first message was tweeted yesterday, saying 'Got a very sad announcement everyone, I am leaving Westlife to concentrate on Managing Wonderland, I haven't taken this decision lightly...The boys are going to continue as a three piece .. I am leaving'.

Panic then spread, and confusion set in when his twitter account was later deleted. Kian tried to contact his UK record label to get the tweets removed, but then became aware that the account had been deleted. He then used his wife's account to tweet that he was not leaving the band, and confirmed he had been hacked.

31 year old Kian, was made aware of the news at around 6.30pm last night when he received a call from a UK journalist. Egan was then forced to deny the reports and told The Irish Independent, that his twitter account had been hacked.

The Westlife star, was contacted by his band members and manager Louis Walsh, who all knew that the tweets weren't true. Fellow band member Feehily assured his fans later on, by tweeting 'Don't worry my little Cherubs Kian HAS been hacked...he's not leaving! happy Easter'.
