Take That release Progress Live album

Take That have announced a Progress Live album will be released following their Progress Live DVD release in November

Take That performed a staggering 29 gigs across the nation with their whopping £15 million Progress tour this summer, playing to a massive 1.8 million people in the UK.

The Progress tour was the eighth concert tour by the grown up boyband and supported their sixth studio album Progress. It was the first tour that all five members of Take That had performed together since 1995.

Quickly becoming the biggest selling tour ever in the UK, Progress Live sold 1.34 million tickets in less than 24 hours, celebrating the return of Robbie Williams to the group after an absence of 15 years.

It has been reported that the demand for Take That tickets was no less than 30 times higher than the Michael Jackson's This Is It Tour which was to be held in the O2 arena in London in 2010. Michael Jackson sadly died just three weeks before the first concert date.

So, it is no surprise that Take That have confirmed a DVD and Blu-ray will be released and will be available to purchase on the 21 November.

Following the release of the DVD, Take That have also recently confirmed the band are to release a Progress Live album on the 28 November, which will feature every single hit song that Take That and Robbie Williams sang live during their two and a half hour concert.

The album will include songs from their earlier days, Williams' solo material and hits from their Progress album that sold over three million copies.
