Kate Middleton's disturbing mag images NEWS
In a disturbing image on the front cover of the South African issue of Marie Claire the Duchess of Cambridge is seen posing in South African designer clothes.
A fake photograph of Kate Middleton posing on the front cover of the South African issue of Marie Claire has sparked outrage from readers.
Confused readers of the magazine have seen the Duchess of Cambridge posing in a robe created by South African designer Clive Rundle.
In fact the front cover of the August issue of Marie Claire is fake; the picture of Kate Middleton is of her face photoshopped onto another model's body and is the artwork of a fan of Photoshop.
The magazine's editor Aspasia Karras told The Telegraph: 'We were so inspired by her fairytale wedding and her life as a modern-day princess, which is why we elected Kate Middleton as our cover star for our August issue.'
She went on to explain: 'The Cover is actually a hyper-real illustration of Kate, meant to be a fan art tribute to fashion's new royal icon.'
This is not the first time that the Duchess has been photoshopped, just recently The New Republic featured Kate also on its front cover sporting rotting yellow teeth and the Daily Mail gave the Duchess a makeover by digitally giving her green eye shadow.
Many readers of Marie Claire have said that they are not fans of the idea and would not be buying the latest edition.
