Hospital parking bays reserved for Kate Middleton

As the impending birth of the new royal baby grows closer, the parking bays at the front of St Mary's Hospital in London have been reserved. The parking ban has been imposed for the sudden arrival of the future Heir.

The London hospital where Kate Middleton is due to give birth to her royal baby has introduced parking restrictions as her due date gets ever nearer.

St.Mary's Hospital in London have reserved four parking bays at the front of the hospital in Paddington, London where the Duchess of Cambridge is due to give birth later this month.

The royal baby is due within the next two weeks, but the hospital have already organised parking for Kate and her protection officers in the off chance that she could go into labour early.

The ban is reported to stay in place until 23.59 on 31 July, reported The Mirror.

The Lindo Wing of the London hospital is where Prince William was born, and the new heir will also be announced to the public the same way as the Duke's 31 years ago.

A formal notice will appear on a wood and gold easel just behind the gates of Buckingham Palace shortly after the birth.

A declaration will be printed and signed by medical staff at the hospital and wisked away with a police escort to the Palace. All other press releases will go out after the easel is in place.

A representative from the Palace has confirmed that they want a degree of theatre with the announcement and that an 'electronic release will go out.'

They also said: #quote#This is the birth of the thrid in line to the throne so it is very important. It is an extremely important occasion.#/quote#
