The Big Brother eye logo has been revealed by Channel 5
Remodelled and newly designed eye logo for Channel 5's Big Brother has been revealed.
The iconic Big Brother eye logo has gone back to basics, and has been reworked by the creative team, which now 'sets the tone' for the new show.
Gavin Henderson, creative Director for Endemol said, 'I am really proud of the work the creative team have done to develop the branding for the show, which will set the tone for the whole series'.
He added, 'The eye logo is part of Big Brothers DNA. This new design moves the brand forward and perfectly captures our confidence in relaunching this iconic series on Channel 5.'
Celebrity Big Brother is set to return to our screens in August 2011, followed by the regular series, and the eye logo will feature in both.
The new eye logo will also be flashed on television during commercial breaks leading up to the re-launch with mini clips advertising the forthcoming show.
BB winner in 2001 and Ultimate BB winner 2010, Brian Dowling, has been named as the new presenter for the show on Channel 5. He has said that he hopes people will not compare him to the former BB star Davin McCall. Telling The Daily Star ' I'm not Davina. I'll be me - I hope my experience in the show will give me an advantage'.
The former flight attendant is hoping that fans of the show will be able to offer a new catch phrase to replace 'Big Brother house - This is Davina, please do not swear'.
Big Brother's Little Brother will be replaced with Big Brother's Bit On The Side, and will be hosted by Emma Willis who had previously hosted the 2010 Big Brother Little Brother final series on Channel 4.
Michelle Bass, who appeared in the fifth series on Channel 4 has recently tweeted that she will be promoting the show in the forthcoming adverts.
She tweeted 'Off to film the new advert for Big Brother'. adding later in the day, 'Day one of the big brother advert was amazing ...you are all going to love the final result.'
The celebrities that have been linked to this years celebrity Big Brother are Steve Strange, Jedward, Kerry Katona and Rachel Stevens.
