The Firestation community centre in Windsor has built its reputation in recent years and become the hub of the community for many, offering locals a broad range of entertainment, classes and education, for adults and children alike. Their Book Swap night incorporates an evening of sparkling discussion with a variety of guest speakers, this time introducing Marie Philips (author of Gods Behaving Badly) and publisher Scott Pack, making it a fantastic opportunity to the stretch your literary muscles. Take part in a sometimes light-hearted, sometimes whimisical and sometimes deep and thought-provoking conversation with industry professionals and enjoy some real 'grown up' entertainment! Plus, bring a book to swap and take some new reading material home with you.

The Firestation is based near Windsor town centre and is close to the main train stations, so it is ideal for an exciting mid-week adventure to somewhere new. The book swap event will take place on Thursday 15th November from 19:45 with a charge of £5 entry and tea and cake will be served to entice you still further.

With literary festival appearances including the Cheltenham Festival, and interest from radio and television, the Firestation Book Swap is rapidly growing in popularity, so get involved with an exciting night of literary adventure and discovery.
