With the royal baby due in just nine weeks, the UK has gone betting mad as people have been betting on the sex, name and according to Entertainmentwise.com the colour of the baby's hair. Although Prince Harry knows at least one secret.
The time is almost upon us when the UK will at last know what Kate Middleton and Prince William will call their new born child.
In just 9 weeks, Kate will be giving birth to the next King or Queen of England, and the public have gone betting crazy as they try and guess what the sex, name and what colour the baby's hair will be.
According to Entertainmentwise.co Ladbrokes have reported to have said with odds at 5/2 the favourite is for a girl, despite Prince Harry telling his close friends that he is looking forward to having a little nephew.
A source revealed to the Sunday People that Prince Harry is reported to have said the royal family are excited about the news and Kate has always wanted a son.
According to the source, close family members all know that the baby will be a boy, and are all buying gifts with a 'boy theme'.
It has been revealed recently that Kate and her child will move back in with her parents for the first six weeks and in a break with royal tradition the royal baby will not be cared for by a maternity nurse.
Kate has been heard saying that she 'feels safest and most secure' at her parent's home and that her mother knows better than anyone about bringing up a baby.
It has also been revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will not be moving into their new apartment in Kensington Palace after asbestos has been found in the building; this has to be cleared before they family move in.
The 57 room apartment in Kensington palace is currently covered in scaffold and completely inhabitable and will not be finished until September or even October.
Kate's Mother Carole Middleton is said to be excited with the prospect of becoming a grandparent and is busy overseeing work done to a new kitchen and a 'nursery-style' room.
Prince William and his pregnant wife are travelling regularly between their farmhouse on Anglesey and Nottingham Cottage a small house in the grounds of Kensington Palace.
