A survey by discount travel company Hotwire.com has shown that an astonishing one in four Brits have never been to Wales or Scotland in their life.
The survey shows that Brits will usually travel abroad on holiday instead of exploring the delights of their own country. It turns out that the Scottish are the most widely travelled, each visiting 2.02 UK countries, with the English visiting an average of 1.69 countries in the UK.
The survey also reveals that Londoners are more aquainted with Paris than Wales, with just 69 percent having travelled to Wales, as opposed to 71 percent travelling to Paris.
