How to Use the London Pass FEATURE
London is one of the star attractions for visitors and tourists to England. If your time is limited, you'll want to make the most of your trip to London with a London Pass, enabling you to enter dozens of top London attractions and landmarks dotted across the city.
The London Pass offers great savings to individuals and families, as you get to use it to visit dozens of top London attractions, save on West End shows, and receive discounts in restaurants, leisure activities and much more. But how do you use the London Pass?
How to Activate The London Pass
The London Pass is like a credit card, complete with a computer chip inside it, which stores information such as such long the London Pass is valid for and whether the London Pass is valid for 1,2,3 or 6 days.
It does not matter when you buy the London Pass, as it is activated the first time you use it to enter an attraction or service. A 'day' is actually a calendar day, which means if you activate your London Pass at 3:00 pm on Tuesday, then Tuesday will be counted as day one of your pass usage.
London Pass with Travel
If you have purchased a London Pass with travel, your London Travelcard will be stamped with the start and end date at the time of purchase to help make it easier for you to make the most of your visit to London.
Purchasing the London Pass along with the London Travelcard allows you to catch the London Underground (tube) from Heathrow Airport into Central London. But this option is only available if you have your London Pass sent to your home address prior to travel.
Validity of the London Pass
Once the London Pass and London Travelcard have been activated, they will be valid for the duration of the validity period (1, 2, 3 or 6 days) for use on consecutive days. Once the validity period is up, you will not longer be able to use the London Pass.
Skip The Queue!
Who likes to stand in long, frustrating queues for entry into an attraction? It is not much fun to wait for hours to enter star attractions or visit popular landmarks. But if you have a valid London Pass, you can skip ahead in the queue at many major London attractions wherever you see the London Pass signs and you show the attendant your London Pass.
Your London Pass will then be swiped and you will be admitted more quickly into the attraction, which will help save you time you would otherwise have spent waiting your turn in the queue.
