Whether you have a couple of hours to kill or the whole day to spend at Millennium Point, our two on-site visitor attractions - the award winning Thinktank, Birmingham's museum of science and discovery, and the IMAX" Theatre, the first cinema in the Midlands showing 2D and 3D films, you can be sure of a fun and education day out.

The Midlands' first IMAX Theatre allows you to take an amazing journey without even leaving your seat. For sheer sensory overload, the screen in the 385 seat arena is the width of four buses placed nose to tail, and more than five storeys high. The projector is so powerful that if it were mounted on a satellite you would be able to see its beam from earth. 2D and 3D action allow the viewer to travel through space, swim with swordfish, dine with dinosaurs and journey through the human body. Don't come to the IMAX for escapism - here you're right at the centre of the action.

Ten themed galleries of interactive, informative exhibits make up Thinktank, a truly modern museum where you can explore everything from locomotives and aircraft to intestines and spit glands! The box office is located on level G0.

This exciting, award winning science centre has attracted some 280,000 visitors since it opened in Birmingham in September 2001. It is one of the biggest museums outside London and offers four floors of interactive learning and fun, a 200-seat theatre, education rooms, cafe, shop and an original corporate package for holding conferences and events.
