Brynmawr Museum was created b the community; it is run totally by volunteers and was officially opened in 2003. There has been over 34,000 visitors through its doors to date, including many from overseas.
There are a lot of items in the museum from Brynmawr's past. Why not come down to see some of these items, which include school photographs, medical equipment, church and chapel china, police uniforms, scout and guide uniforms, sporting cups and equipment.
We're open Thursday & Friday 10am-1pm, 2pm-4pm, Saturday 10am-1pm. Other opening hours can be arranged for special visits.
