Availability: Seven days a week throughout the year, excluding the Christmas and New Year period. Weather: As the experience is so weather dependent, please make contact direct at least 24 hours in advance of the booking to confirm go ahead. Duration: Lasts around eight hours, meeting usually from 7 - 8am, and includes six hours of hands-on fishing time. Numbers On Day: Share the experience with up eight other people, plus a skipper and the instructor. Spectators: Dress Code: All fishing equipment and bait is provided, but please bring waterproofs and wear old clothes. Guidelines: Restrictions: Minimum age is 18 with no previous experience required. Other Info: Hot drinks are provided but please bring a packed lunch.

Meet a seasoned instructor for a chat to assess fishing ability (although newcomers are very welcome) before boarding a 30 foot fishing vessel. Spend 30 - 40 minutes travelling into the Bristol Channel and once in a prime fishing spot, prepare the bait and cast out lines to try and catch some impressive fish, with tuition from the on board fishing expert. The exact catch varies according to season but in winter, cod, whiting and blonde rays are potentially available and in summer dogfish, conger eel, bass and spur dogs all swim in local waters. Tea and coffee is provided and anything caught can be filleted and taken home to enjoy with friends and family.
