Availability: Weekdays and weekends from May - October. Weather: This is a weather dependent activity. It's essential to call the venue for a weather check between 5pm and 7pm the evening before the booking. Duration: Lasts around four hours. Numbers On Day: Share the Jet Viper with up to 11 others, plus a fully qualified skipper. Spectators: Spectators are welcome to wave you off from the shore. The marina has a number of restaurants and bars. Dress Code: Dress warmly and bring waterproofs and a change of clothes. Bear in mind that there is a high wind-chill factor aboard the boat. Wear flat, non-slip shoes (e.g. trainers or deck shoes). An old pair of sunglasses/ski goggles are useful in sun and wind. Guidelines: From M27, exit J3 onto M271 following signs to 'Waterfront'. With Ocean Village on your right, drive straight on, under bridge until you reach T junction with 'The Chapel Arms' ahead. Turn right, then right again at roundabout by St. Mary's Stadium (into Belvidere Road). Pick up signposts for Shamrock Quay and turn right into William Street. After a safety briefing and introduction, get kitted out in safety gear and board the Jet Viper. Seated on jockey style seats, take a ride along the river with the driver demonstrating donuts, spins, side slides and crash stops. Take a break at a nearby pub on the Isle of Wight to relax, before speeding back along the Southampton water. The views are incredible and the adrenaline rush is unrivalled.
