Salar Gallery Art Galleries
The Salar Gallery opened in the centre of this small market town in 1991 to provide an exhibition space for local artists and craftsmen. A gallery and shop that celebrates rural Devon and North Cornwall.
A wide variety of work from up to 60 artists and craftsmen can be purchased.. You are most welcome to browse (and shop!)
We hold regular exhibitions ' solo, group or theme ' held through much of the year.
Painters include: Pam Cox, Vivien Walters, Hermione Dunn, Eileen Gold, Sue Luxton, Richard Meyer, Ron MacKnight, Shan Miller, Sarah Woolfenden, Rose Hitchings and Leila Winslade.
Sculptors: Jo Seccombe, Paul Jenkins, Suzie Marsh and work from Oriele Bronze'.
Photographers: Jen Bryant and Sarah Gallifent.
Prints: from Anne Cotterill and Widgery.
Craftsmen: Maryjane Carruthers (pottery), Inka Gabriel (lamps), Margaret Johnson (glassware), Isabella Whitworth and Joy Moss (silk scarves).
